Customs Clearance
Hong Kong is
one of the free ports in the world and does not levy any Customs tariff and any taxes on
imports. However, There is a exemption for four kinds of goods - liquors, tobacco,
hydrocarbon oil and methyl alcohol are required for taxation on imports or locally
manufacturing.

According to regulations in Hong Kong,
consignors or consignees (commercial / business coproration or Any Persons) are obligate
to lodge a declaration to Hong Kong Customs Department of what they have imported or
exported within fourteen days after arrival date or departure date of shipments.
There is also a Declaration Fee should be made to Hong Kong SAR Government in a percentage
on value of goods or personal articles.
