Hong Kong Marine World

Hong Kong is surrounded by sea and has a sea surface area of about 1800 sq. km. It lies within the sub-tropical area on the southern coast of China at the estuary of Pearl River. Though primarily tropical, Hong Kong is also affected by the seasonal fluctuations of warm, cold water and monsoon weather conditions,therefore, there is an admixture of tropical and temperate forms like corals, sea grasses, fishes and dolphins.
